Our job posting policy and disclaimer
We don't simply link to every ad we come across, because there's far too much out there that is sheisty, illegitimate, or irrelevant to the serious job seeker. We've been in China for almost 5 years now, and we've seen and experienced enough to be able to spot at least some of openings best ignored. Having said that, we can't spot everything, and we can't be all things to all people - nor will we be held responsible for anything you manage to get yourself into. Always research thoroughly every employer you consider working for.
We do not post:
- "Locals only" positions
- Ads that get posted 10 times a day (or even twice in a week)
- Most ads by employers who don't bother to give any detail about the position or their needs
- Most part-time positions
- Most "tutor needed" ads
- Most teaching positions (There are so many teaching positions that it just boggles the mind! We post the ones we stumble across on other sites; we'll leave the best dedicated teacher sites for you under "Links for teachers".)
We are assuming for the time being that you are primarily looking for full time work. However, we want to hear what you think! If enough people want a change, we will certainly consider it.
